We had a great experience at the vineyard. The tasting menu was great and we got to select from a range of wine. I must say I was impressed by their overall collection. Place is clean with ample space to sit indoors and outdoors. You can also bring in your mats and picnic basket and sit near to the vineyard.
I am giving 4 stars for a) the food options are very little. Food truck was average. Also, we were expecting good cheese platter atleast.
b) if you sit outside there’s no umbrella shade or covers. I feel the tables should have that option.
The hosts were very good and welcoming. Definitely recommend visiting once.
I absolutely love, love coming here!
The scenery is beautiful and you forget all about the busyness of the cities. It is a huge property with a lake and lots of indoor and outdoor seating. The wine itself is very well made and the chardonnay is one of my favorites along with Cabernet Franco and the house red. We have been there in all seasons and a lot for the sunsets. Definitely worth the drive for a place to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.
Beautiful grounds. Delicious wines. There is plenty of seating, both indoor and out. If you are noise sensitive, you'll want to get an outdoor table as it gets pretty loud inside. A wonderful two man band preformed while we were there. It was a busy weekend but it was well controlled. As we drove into the long driveway, with a beautiful lake to the left, a "flagger" was there to help us park. While there is plenty of seating, you may want to bring a blanket to enjoy sitting pondside. Be prepared to pay. The wine, while delicious, isn't cheap. $26-$32 a bottle. They also offer tastings. No outside beverages allowed so you'll also need to purchase water if desired. You are allowed to bring your own food, so it sort of evens out. There is a food truck on site as well. Limited bathroom, but they are clean. On cooler days/evenings a huge bonfire is lit, only adding to the ambiance. Romantic for two, or great for parties, showers, birthdays etc. Really beautiful winery in CT with spectacular views. Oh, you can bring your behaved, leashed dog in the outdoor areas, several guests did!
What a gorgeous venue! Busy but plenty of room for everyone. Lovely vistas, friendly service. Recommend the $20 dessert wine tasting because you get 5 regular wines plus a taste of one of the dessert wines, worth it! Nice menu for nibbles with the wine. Had a great time!
I tried the driest wine (don’t remember the name lol) it was really good. We brought our picadera and had a great time there. Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, lots of space
One of my fav places any season of the year.
Place is very relaxing, came in today with my dog Chico.
Customer Service is outstanding.
Enjoyed an overcast/rainy Sunday afternoon with some friends. The grounds were beautiful with enough seating and table umbrellas for a rainy day. Inside was packed and a little too loud for my liking so outside was best to view the beautiful mountains and enjoy the birds flying by.
Whirlwind Rosé was not too sweet with just enough tart/bitterness 🥀.
Nice big open space. Great views. Amazing deck. Great that you can bring your own food. Staff are helpful in selecting a wine but they could be a little classier. Enjoyed the Stone House White as the Muscat wasn’t available. The blush sangria was adequate, but not worth getting.
